Egmont Manuka Honey is based in New Plymouth under the watchful eye of Mount Taranaki, a volcano that defines the region. Our Manuka Honey is produced by bees collecting nectar from the Manuka plant, a native species of tea tree that grows wildly and exclusively in the most remote corners of New Zealand. Nothing to hide; nothing but nature. Certified MGO ensures this honey contains at least 355mg/kg of methylglyoxal as tested by an IANZ approved laboratory. The UMF™ rating system independently certifies natural components found in Manuka Honey to assure potency, purity, authenticity & freshness.
