Gaviscon Double Action Mint Oral Suspension 500ml helps ease heartburn and indigestion fast. It works in two ways—by neutralising extra acid in the gut and forming a barrier that helps block acid from rising. People often use it after meals or before sleep, especially if they feel acid build-up, chest burn, or a sour taste. This formula starts to act quickly and may bring relief for up to four hours. It’s also free from sugar and gluten, vegan-friendly, and can be used while pregnant or breastfeeding.
Directions:
- For oral use only. Shake well before use.
- Adults and children 12 years and over: Take 10–20ml (2–4 x 5ml spoonfuls) after meals and at bedtime, up to 4 times a day.
- Children under 12 years: Only use under medical advice.
- If you take too much: You may feel bloated. It’s unlikely to cause harm, but consult a doctor or pharmacist if concerned.
- If you forget a dose: Don’t double the next dose. Just carry on as before.
Ingredients: Each 10ml Contains Sodium Alginate 500mg, Sodium Bicarbonate 213mg, Calcium Carbonate 325mg. Also Contains Carbomer, Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E218), Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E216), Saccharin Sodium, Peppermint Flavour, and Purified Water.
